Mr. Isao ENDO
Trained as an environmental economist, Isao Endo focuses on socioeconomic aspects of environmental conservation activities. Prior to joining IGES, he served as Environmental Specialist at the United Nations and the World Bank. Isao contributed to devising Strategic Action Program, a regional environmental strategy, to maintain and improve the health of the Yellow Sea. In his recent assignment with the Bank, Isao contributed to assessing climate-related public expenditures in the Philippines, analyzing climate impacts on the society and people. Isao holds the bachelor’s degree in economics from Sophia University and the master's degree of Environmental Management from Yale University (Fulbright Scholar).
