After working on the issues of forest conservation and poverty alleviation in the Dominica n Republic, Mr. Fujisaki obtained his master’s degree from University of East Anglia on the Environment and Development Studies. He joined IGES in 2009, as a researcher in Forest Conservation Team. Currently he engages in analysisng forest-climate change policies in Asia-Pacific region, and developing approaches to engage local communities in forest biomass monitoring in the context of climate change.
