Dr. So-Young LEE
Dr. Lee specialises in environmental sociology and current research focuses on governance in sustainability transitions and co-benefits for the underprivileged. She obtained her Sociology Diploma from LSE and PhD from Essex University. After serving as a Research Professor at Korea University and at Pusan National University as well as a researcher of NGOs (Hansalim co-op, Korea GAP, Consumers Union of Korea), she joined for IGES in 2013. Her previous publications i.e. Political Implication of Ecological Concerns and Movements (2012), Reconsidering Morris’s Ecotopia through Current Ecovillage Implementations (2012), A Comparative Analysis of the Koreans’ Perception of Environmental Conflict (2011), Exploring Practices of Sustainable Lifestyle for Sustainable Development (2011) show her topics.
